State, County and City Buildings, Hospitals, Etc. Austin, Tex.--A new State Institute for the Blind is to be erected here. Brooklyn. N. Y.--The armory for Troop C. on Bedford avenue, will cost about $500.000, according to the plans of Thomas & Tachau, which have been accepted. Carthage, Ill.--The contract for the new court house to be erected here has been awarded to the Menke Stone Company, of Quincy, at $104,871). Columbia, S. C.--An extensive addition will be made to Columbia Hospital, and plans are now being prepared. Cripple Creek, Col.--A court house, costing about $75,000, will be erected here. Plans by A. J. Smith, Colorado Springs. Darlington, S. C.--Bids are wanted for the new court house to be erected at this place. Davenport, Vash.--An addition to the court house will cost $-'$0.000. Gloversville, N. Y.--An armory for the Separate Company will be erected on Washington street. the State having made an appropriation. Grand Haven, Mich.--Contracts will soon be awarded for the erection of a new armory here. Greeusburg, Pa.---The new court house for Westmoreland County, -to be erected here, will be a five story granite and marble structure. costing about $l,01l0,000. I. E. 8: A. L. Pennock, of Philadelphia, have the contract. Indianapolis, Ind.-The Harron Art Institute will cost. it is estimated, about $250.000. more
