Patti K. Rudge has lived in South Dakota for most of her life. She has spent a lot of time collecting recipes and cooking great food. She has over one hundred cookbooks and considers reading them like reading a good novel. Her garden and flowers are part of her life. She comes from a farming background so planting and having a garden is very important. She also likes crocheting, scrapbooking and stamping. Patti is retired after twenty years of working for a United States Senator where she enjoyed setting up many events for him and her community. She is owned by two Jack Russell Terriers, Corkie and Bella. She treasures her time with her grandchildren and loves to cook family dinners. She has also published the novel Wankiya in 2011 and Crying a Dead Man's Tears in 2014. A third novel, Wearing a Dead Man's Socks, is planned for 2016.
