Description

Bertie Wooster would rather run a mile in tight shoes than visit the rural nightmare known as Totleigh Towers. Inhabiting its confines is drippy Madeline, who believes that the stars are God's daisy chain. She's engaged to Bertie's old chum Gussie, but will happily settle for Bertie should things go amiss. So when the engagement does falter, Bertie must hope that Jeeves will forget their differences over a certain pink-feathered Alpine hat and once more come to his rescue...

About P. G. Wodehouse

P G Wodehouse was born in Guildford in 1881. He was a prolifie writer who, in Jeeves and Wooster, created two of the most popular characters of the 20th Century. Wodehouse was created a Knight of the British Empire in 1975 and said in a BBC interview that he had no ambitions left now that he had been knighted and there was waxwork of him in Madame Tussauds. He died that same year, aged 93, on St Valentine's Day.
