The Board will be pi-e1pai-ed to conduct an inspection under Section 3 of the Board of Education Act, 1899, 0 any Secondary School not recognised under these Regulations, upon receiving an application for such inspection from the Governing Body of the school. The Board cannot undertake to arrange for an inspection to take place in less than two months from the date on ivhich the formal application for inspection is received. In accordance with the Act, inspection of Schools established by Scheme under the Vlfelsli Intennediatc Education Act, 1889, is conducted, not by the Board, but by the Central Welsh Board for Intermediate lflducation. 2. The inspection will cover (a) the adniinistration of the school, (b) the condition of the school buildings, and (c) the education given througliout the school. (a) For the purposes of the administrative inspection there will be a. confeience between the Inspectors and the Governing Body. (b) The inspection of the school buildings will iiicludo sanitary inspection, for which purpose a sanitary expert may, in special cases, be called in. It will also include an inspection of the provision for recreation and of all boarding houses conducted by the Governors or under their license or by any member of the school stall'. (c) The educational inspection will deal with all the subjects comprised in the (: l1l'l'lC1lllll1l of the school, but not by way of systematic examination either Written or ora. 3. The educational inspection may, if desired, be condiicted through the agency of an inspecting organisation recognised for the purpose under section 3 (1) of the Act.
