Abandoned by her husband and left to care for a sick child, Onome is desperate to find a job. After several failed attempts, she eventually lands a job at one of the most prestigious banks in Lagos. Amaka Azie was born and raised in Nigeria, West Africa. She developed a passion for reading at the age of twelve.
