About John A. Kline

John Kline is a professional motivational speaker living in Montgomery, Alabama. He is also professor and Director of the Institute for Leadership Development at Troy State University. Dr. Kline grew up in Iowa, graduated from the Iowa State University with a B.S. in English and Speech, received Master's and Ph.D. degrees in Speech Communication from the University of Iowa, and completed postdoctoral study at Harvard University. He has been a professor at the University of New Mexico, the University of Missouri-Columbia, and the United States Air Force Air University, where he gained a reputation as the Air Force's leading expert on public speaking. Businesses and corporations call him often to train personnel to speak and listen more effectively.
