Soul Flow: A Collection of Free Verse Poetry
The poems in this book are expressions of ideas as they occur and without reference to what has preceded or followed them. The subject matter concerns the very nature of life-- the what if's that grapple the human mind--the struggle of the individual amid a society whose purpose is not fully understood--the observation of moments unfolding according to the hands of the great grandfather clock of the universe. The examples are endless. If Life is a vessel, then consciousness represents the vast ocean by which all of our thoughts are connected together. Thus, in looking to these moments, idealizing them, and then reflecting upon their intrinsic worth, we can approach each new situation even better equipped to discover the totality of being and the meaning of a successful life. Hopefully these poems will provide readers with content worthy of reflection and enable them to begin the journey inward by which they discover the values that make life worthy of living.
