Our customer reviews

This book was very exciting, full of adventure and mystery, with a lovely twist of romance and a brilliant ending. It was so enjoyable - a great read from one of my favourite authors! The story is set in the 1720s, with smugglers and danger thrown into every scene. The main character, is a sixteen-year-old girl who is running away from her home. She's rescued from drowning in a rough sea, by tough looking men - they're known as smugglers. Aboard their ship, 'The Invisible', she learns to do many things she never dreamed she would - coming from a rich family doesn't make doing jobs easy for her! But she soon gets used to life on the ship and when it's time to say goodbye, her heart doesn't want to leave. Plus, she seems to have got to know the smugglers much better - especially one young man in more
