this cookbook, as I've recently bought an electric slow cooker (or crock pot). I'd been a little worried about Enid's comment that these recipes are for stove-top or oven-cooked dishes. For those with the same concern, I just wanted to confirm that they are all for an electric slow cooker (4.5 litre, 18 cup - a pretty standard slow cooker size). There are lots of useful general tips about cooking with a slow cooker, plus more specific tips around whether individual recipes can be frozen, alternative cuts of meat to use in a particular recipe etc. The book looks great (as do all Women's Weekly cookbooks) and I can't wait to start trying out the recipes (hence not yet being able to give a 5-star review)!show more
