Description

An irresistible, super-cute collection of soft, cuddly dolls, the charming characters in this book are all based on just one simple design. Gorgeous in their simplicity, the dolls personalities are created cleverly with different hairstyles, clothes and accessories. The basic model measures 16-18 inches in heights and the materials used are pure cotton jersey and wool with very simple stitching to define the shapes. Suitable for beginners, the book includes detailed step-by-step photographs showing how to make the basic doll, and beautiful close up photographs of the finished dolls and their wardrobes. All the patterns are full size and the author offers lots of good tips and advice throughout. Whether new to doll making, or experienced in the technique, crafters and sewers will love making these beautiful, appealing softies, and the how-to book makes the creative process an easy and enjoyable one.

Review quote

June 13

Cute, adorable, soft and cuddly- daisy dolls are fun to make and embellish with pretty hairstyles, clothes and accessories. Create your dolls following the beautifully photographed, step-by-step instructions, then make them delightful little outfits using the templates provided at the back of the book. With inspiring images of the finished dolls and their clothes, daisy dolls are the perfect project for crafters of all levels. * Merseyside Embroiderer's Guild (megonline.co.uk) * Oct 13

It's what the book says simple cloth dolls but these rag dolls are cute, contemporary and very loveable. I am sure they make excellent friends. I think they are adorable, and you can easily change the face and make these your very own characters. This book tells you all you need to know, in perfect step by step photographs with detailed instructions. Not only do you get the doll pattern template, but also templates for various clothes. This is a wonderful book for beginner doll makers. This book was first published in Danish. * Karen Platt Yarnsandfabrics.co.uk/crafts *
