Men from Pylon in looking to their full development have distinguished themselves upon the campus in many ways. Many of the men have won their class numerals by proving themselves valuable assets on class football, baseball, basketball and track teams, while berths on each Of the Varsity teams have often been filled by Pylon men. In scholarship the organization has an enviable record. Not only has it been above the average, but for two years in succession led the general fraternities in scho lastic proficiency. On the membership rolls of Alpha Omega Alpha, Phi Lambda Upsilon, Sigma Xi, and Phi Beta Kappa, honor societies, appear the names of Pylon men. Many of the men have filled important offices in campus organizations and classes, including several presidencies. Among the faculty the organization has always been held in highest esteem.
