Description

It's chaos at the Royal Palace - the Royal Baby just won't go to sleep. Waaaaah! Waaaaah! Waaaaah!

The Royal Family has tried everything to pacify the little bundle of joy - from proferring the golden royal dummy to death-defying parachute jumps with the Queen. But, just when the little one seems to be settling, another disturbance is just around the corner. From yip-yapping corgis to marching guards and noisy party planning, the palace is awash with noise. Will it ever be peaceful enough to lull the baby off to sleep?

A laugh-out-loud celebration of the new addition to the Royal Family, guaranteed to raise a few giggles.

About Martha Mumford

MARTHA MUMFORD has loved children's books forever. Her mother was a librarian which gave her access to a wonderful array of books from a very early age. Shhh! Don't Wake the Royal Baby is her first children's picture book and she is delighted to be working with Bloomsbury. Martha loves baking, patchwork and has a mild obsession with interiors magazines (although she freely admits that the ideas she has found therein have yet to be translated to the interior of her own home!). Martha lives in Berkshire with her husband and young daughter.

ADA GREY has worked as a successful illustrator of cards, gifts and stationery for many years, and now she is very excited to have developed a strong and appealing new illustration style for picture books. Shhh! Don't Wake the Royal Baby is her first picture book for Bloomsbury. Ada lives in Brighton with her family.

Our customer reviews

This is a funny and realistic satire of a picture book that my 26 month old daughter loves. A must for small children born around the same time as Prince George.show more
