Description

Ivory Kane is an adolescent vagabond, completely alone in the great twenty-first century Nordic kingdom of Evolo. Her parents were killed in a fire leaving her with a great fear of the light, and her only solitude became the shadows. However, her hopes begin to arise after a visitation from a great Deity, and she discovers her bond with the darkness is far stronger than she thought: tripping shadows, causing blackouts, and even supernatural strength. To defend the meek and the misfortunate and armed with the sapphire studded sword of the Silent God, Ivory puts her skills to good use, becoming the feared shadowed face known to all only as The Pierrot. Soon her abilities are truly tested when a demonic preacher and his cult of outlaws invade the city and threaten to bring the world to a historic state of dystopia and madness, and only she has the power to send him and his demons back to The Dark Realm.show more

About Jayd Alex Ingram

I am a seventeen year old student with albinism living in the Channel Islands. I've just finished my GCSEs including Drama, ICT and Art and I'm now indulging in my many hobbies, of which include writing, technology and art, and I hope to one day find a career which involves all three. I've completed my first novel in which I wrote whilst studying for my GCSEs, an urban fantasy adventure entitled A Shadow Full Of Sapphires which is available to buy in most ebook stores, and I'm now planning out the sequel. As well as writing, I'm also very fond of making art, particularly making digital illustrations on my iPad, in which my drawings vary from fan arts to my own unique characters. I showcases almost all of my works on my Deviant Art account (in which I will be updating soon) and I usually upload speed art to my YouTube channel, which I am hoping to develop further soon, putting on tutorials and vlogs relating to my passions. I am currently studying my A Levels: Art and Design, English Literature and surprisingly Computer Science. I hope to further my education taking a degree in Digital Arts in either the UK or hopefully the USA. I'm also been very involved in the... "Apple community," as my iPad has been my number 1 tool of the trade to access life in a whole new way! I have a visual impairment, and the iPad has worked wonders on helping me out in the classroom and even on my DofE expeditions and in my social life. Since, I have been to numerous events in which I have shared my experiences with teachers and students in the hopes to show them how beneficial the piece of technology is to anyone. I am currently working on a lot of projects: a mental health and albinism awareness campaign; the sequel to my book; my video tutorials etc.. And I am hoping to kickstart some freelancing in art.show more
