I understand the basis of that is mainly 2. county basis?-Yes. l926. There are certain representatives upon it from the Thames Conservancy and the Lee Conservancy, and we might criticise that aspect of it?---Yes. 1927. But, taking it as a whole, and comparing it with this Trust, you prefer it very much?--Yes, it is in the main a county re resentation, the County of London and the ot er counties which are interested. 1928. And, of course, I am right in supposing that the sources of water supply for this Water London are situate in those counties that would have representation?--Yes. 1929. Being on a county basis, do you think that---it is a delicate subject--that the quality of the men on the Board would be better than if it were on a borou h basis and urban district council basis?---Per aps, as I am no longer a member of the London County Council, I may be permitted to say what Mr. Wood would not say, that the quality of the men on the London County Council, as compared with the men on the former vestries, now the local authorities, is as difierent as the ordinary difference is between the county councillors of ordinary councils in the county and the urban authorities, or...
