About Gervase J Owens
Gervase Owens was born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and raised in Grand Rapids, Michigan. At age sixteen she felt called by God to share the love of Jesus. The vision that God put on the inside of her became a reality when she started a non-profit Step Ministry called: Valeur on the campus of Oral Roberts University. Her bold step of faith led to over a decade of working with teams of people, reaching out to youth & young adults, community outreach, and missionary trips. Gervase holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Elementary Education and a Master of Arts Degree in Educational Leadership. She enjoys community outreach and public speaking. She lives in Houma, Louisiana with her husband, Kazi, and their two children, daughter Zoe, and son Zion.
