The second book in the hathaways and is Merripens and Winifreds story. Finally,Winifred after years away in a clinic in France, she has returned to England completely recovered. Merripen protects and cherishes her but doesn't make love to her afraid he'll hurt or spoil her perfection with his sordid past. The doctor from the clinic is accompanying Winifred and the more Merripen pushes her away the closer she becomes to accepting the doctor's marriage proposal. There is also a second storyline with Cam (from mine til midnight)and Merripen tracing their romany roots. Overall it is a good read and a keepershow more
