The Secret Garden
Mary Lennox is sent to live in her uncle's home in Yorkshire on the death of her parents in India. She is lonely and unhappy until she discovers a secret garden which had been locked and neglected since the death of her aunt ten years earlier. With the help of a local boy, Dickon, she transforms not only the garden but the lives of her sickly cousin Colin and all who live in Misselthwaite Manor. Written for children the book is also enjoyed by adults.
