Search Engine Optimization for Photographers and Digital Artists
Once I created my first web site for a real business, I realized that it did not matter how good my site was if nobody ever found it. So I began learning anything and everything I could to get my site to rank well in the search engines and eventually I realized that the things that worked were not only simple but seemed to follow the same basic rules. There are additional tricks for Photographers and Digitals Artists who typically have web sites that are image intensive whcih can be a disadvantage when it comes to search optimization. Dealing with image heavy web pages and creating a new way for your visitors to interact with your images are two things I cover in this book. Before you pay someone to get your site ranked you should take the time to understand what works because you might just be able to do it yourself for free. And if you decide to hire someone anyway, understanding search optimization will keep you from hiring the wrong person.
