Saving the Halyodoora
The Bad Old Days are long since past. On Earth, King Jesus Immanuel the Anointed reigns. Even out here in the Galaxy, 18000 lightyears from the Solar System, the King is recognised, and life on board the SkaterJon, a near-light-speed beam sailer, is good. For ten years, the SkaterJon has been part of an Interstellar Rescue operation - its important contribution being: to continue its work as usual. Now a Dark Star is about to throw the SkaterJon off course. Continuing as usual is out of the question. In this time of peace, security and comfort, where evil will not thrive, is courage a thing of the past? One hundred thousand SkaterJonians find themselves put to the ultimate test. If they want to give the one billion souls on board the Halyodoora a chance, they will have to become heroes - fast, and in staggering numbers - and no guarantees. Whatever choice they make, the Halyodoora may still crash... And amidst this worst crisis ever, the Ship's Governor is thinking about a girl!
