Description

Zara Marx, at twenty-eight is still impressionable, but worldly at the same time. She is quite the socialite in London, and when her best friend Chantal, a well known model asks her to meet her for drinks, she has no idea she is about to embark upon a whirlwind romance with the very ineligible international attorney Markovic de Chivre. Though she is certainly not a novice in the art of seduction, and very adept at playing the coquette, is she really ready to play his adult games? Markovic de Chivre is a man who 'grabs a wolf by the ears' and never backs down from a challenge. Although he's in a marriage born of convenience to world renowned fashion designer Jackalyn Davillier, it doesn't deter either of them from a life of excess, or conquering new prey, until he meets Zara. The Satyr is cunning, cultured and adept, at finding the weaknesses of men. He may appear as the quintessential woman, a world class beauty of keen intellect, and well bred; to tantalize and to tempt men to their death. Or he may become the dashing Frenchmen whose only desire is to make all of your fantasies come true, reaching in through your dreams, or a witches brew. But whatever the form his goal remains clear, and unchanged, to steal, kill and destroy, to the misfortune of those who are daring enough to become his mate. The Satyr leads a life filled with debauchery, as he moves on from one conquest to the next, but there is no solace, or sense of satisfaction for him in his search for new prey and release. Maybe it is the price that is paid by an empty soul, or maybe, he's in need of a mirrored equal. If only there was a partner who could present a challenge, a match for the maniacal narcissist. Someone to share the ages with until his inevitable destruction, that in which he has been foretold, he will see, one fateful day. Mature Audienceshow more

About Tabitha Brace

Tabitha Brace is a New York born author, raised in the fast paced hustle and bustle of Manhattan. As a student of the arts, she attended F. H. LaGuardia H.S. for Music & the Performing Arts before moving on to attend college at The Fashion Institute of Technology. Being discovered as a singer and songwriter at a young age propelled her into a career in the music industry, where she went on to travel the U.S. and abroad on major tours with various artists. Never really losing sight of her early love for books and a thirst for knowledge, she went on to write her first book after her success as a vocalist and songwriter on a few multi-platinum albums.
