I am glad my tobacco happens to be good. Are you sure you can stand it? " " Oh, yes." She reached forward and struck a match, and two of my fingers touched hers as I took it from her. " There, now you look comfortable, and I feel comfortable." She clasped her hands in her lap, leaned back a little, and surveyed me as dispassionately as an angel might a bull-dog with a bone....
