D., .C0opersviIle, Ottawa.----The following recipe, I think, makes the best soldering fluid I have ever used. It does not eat the hands or the clothes, and it can be used for any kind of work. Take borax, I dram; copperas, 1 dram; prussiate of potash, 1 dram; muriatic acid, 3% ounces; sal ammoniac, 1/; ounce; mix together and add as much zinc as the liquid will dissolve. Then add 1% pints of water. For new zinc add three parts more water. j-1---REFERRED TO OUR READERS.
