About Jan R Powers

My husband and I are currently living on our boat in Ensenada, MX. We retired a year and a half ago. We really enjoy it here. The fishing is incredible! Our plans at this time are open-ended...with the exception of plans to make it home, Washington State, to visit our grandchildren. With the gift of free time I quickly discovered my responsibility for the way I fill it. Amazingly enough the days seem to fill and pass at an alarming rate. I have many interests that keep me plenty busy-not enough hours in the day. I really enjoy playing the piano. I have an electronic keyboard on the boat. Not a very close second to the grand piano I left at home...but it is still enjoyable. I am also learning Spanish. I attend a Women's Bible Study once a week and really enjoy the fellowship with the wonderful women the Lord has so richly blessed my life with. The Lord laid it upon my heart to get this message to children. I really wanted to convey to them what "abiding in Jesus" really means. It seems it has taken me way too many years to grasp its true meaning. I thought maybe if children learned it as children, at some point it would just be-a given. I hope I have achieved this at least to some degree. The Lord absolutely lead me and assisted me in the creation of this book. It has been a lot of fun too!show more
