Winner of the 2013 Hugo award for Best Graphic Story! When two soldiers from
opposite sides of a never-ending galactic war fall in love, they risk everything
to bring a fragile new life into a dangerous old universe. From New York
Times bestselling writer Brian K. Vaughan (Y: The Last Man, Ex
Machina) and critically acclaimed artist Fiona Staples (Mystery
Society, North 40), Saga is the sweeping tale of one young
family fighting to find their place in the worlds. Fantasy and science fiction
are wed like never before in this sexy, subversive drama for adults.
In volume 3, as new parents Marko and Alana travel to an alien world to
visit their hero, the family's pursuers finally close in on their targets.

Our customer reviews

This volume takes place on the smokey planet of Quietus, where Hazel&co meet the author that inspired Marco and Alana - it leads to some great character insights and some really cool discussion as to the nature of war and the like. There's a great balance of story and action as always, and some really awesome and genuinely touching character interactions as well. Marco's mother starts to become more sympathetic, and my love for the Marco and Alana couple was born anew in these pages. This volume also brings to a close several long-running plotlines in the series so far, and ends with a promise of a tonal shift and a big new arc in the series. BKV's storytelling and Staples' gorgeous art are on point and as strong as ever, and I cannot wait for future more
