In this manner they will be able to do away with organizations for each distinct commodity and secure the results that these organizations might give by means of the one body--the N. B. S. A. ( That the members of the Board of Directors are remarkably enthusiastic over their association is shown by the fact that some of them, after traveling for 48 hours, arrived just in time to attend the meeting and left that same evening. The National Builders' Supply Association is endeavoring to work in conjunction with state and district associations and in accordance with action taken at the meeting of the Board of Directors, each state association now affiliating with the national will be represented in the latter organization by delegates. A joint committee representing the associations of Eastern Pennsylvania, New York, New Jersey and New England will meet in New York City, on Monday, June 29, for the purpose of' investigating the different methods of felling materials now in vogue by the various manufacturers. The National Building Supply Association has been asked to have a representative at this meeting. At the meeting of the board it was decided they should be so represented. It is probable that President Cormack will attend the meeting in person. At 1 o'clock the open session of the meeting was held in the west room of the Hotel Sherman, where the members of the board and their guests sat down to luncheon and "over the teacups..".show more
