Who can, when thou art wroth, stand in thy sight? 8 From heav'n thou mad'st thy judgment to be heard, The earth below was motionless with fright. 9 And when thy voice in judgment thou shalt raise, On earth the meek and lowly to redress, 10 Man's fierceness then shall turn unto thy praise, His pride and fierceness then shalt thou repress. 11 Vow to the Lord then, and your vows maintain, Ye that are round him your oblations bring; 12 God's to be fear'd, proud princes hell refrain, And strike with wonder ev'ry earthly king.
