Excerpt: ...lands and roads assessed are situate, and the firsfl sitting of such court shall be held pursuant to notice on some day not earlier than twenty nor later than thirty days from the day on which the by-law was first published, or from the date of completing the services or mailing of a printed copy ofl the by-law, as the case may be; notice of the first sitting of the court shall be published or served with the by-law, but the court may adjourn from time to time as occasion may require; and all notices of appeal shall be served on the clerk of the municipality at least ten days prior to the first sitting of the court; but the court may, though notice of appeal has not been given, by resolution passed at its first sitiing, allow an appeal to be heard on such conditions as to giving notice to all persons interested or otherwise as may be just. 10 Edw.
