N-2. 6-commences proceedings, for the purpose of acquiring title to real estate, or an interest therein, it shall cause a copy of the record of its articles of association, and of the afiidavit endorsed thereon or annexed thereto, made in the ofiice of the secret: iry of state, and certified to be a true copy by the secretary of state, to be filed and recorded in the oflice of the county clerk in the county in which such real estate is situated. This section shall not prevent a company from taking and holding voluntary grants of real estate made to it, to aid in the construction, maintenance and accommodation of its railroad; but such real estate shall be held and used for the purposes of such grant only. If the capital stock of acompany formed under 1372, N- 1- 5-this chapter is found to be insuficient for constructing and operating its railroad, the company may increase the_ stock from time to time to any amount required for the purposes aforesaid; but such increase must be sanctioned by a vote of two-thirds in amount of all the stock represented, at a meeting of the stockholders called by the directors of the company for that purpose. mgffogf "' "5 SEC. 3319.
