INTRODUCTION This book comprises a review of my visit to the Huntington Gardens. On November 24, 2012, I visited the Huntington Gardens in San Marino, California. The day was magical. When first approaching the entrance, the friend I was with and I made contact with a young lady. She was dressed in Victorian style clothing. She allowed me to photograph her. From then on, as large as the park is, I met with her again several times. I remember her "the lady in white." In addition, when purchasing the admittance tickets, we were given two tickets to stick on our clothing which identifying numbers. Incredibly, the two tickets reflected numbers of birth dates. The one my friend was sporting reflected his own birthday, February 25, 1948. The one I was sporting reflected his fathers. The chances of that was astronomical and was incredible. Once in the mansion, we were given what I felt was wonderful and unique treatment as we were guided to a special exit. And finally, as we neared the end of our journey, we were both tired. However, my friend wanted to visit the mausoleum. Incredibly, when we asked a nice man in a security cart how to get there, he actually invited us to jump on the cart and he took us there. Lo and behold the mausoleum was very far and I told my friend later, that we would not have made it had we had to walk there. But I believe that something made sure we were able to visit the mausoleum and I was able to take pictures of it. In the end, the nice gentleman in the cart dropped us off by our car. The park is huge and my feet were very thankful for that! We had a blast at the Huntington Gardens. This book, the book and photography catalogs this experience and represents part of the review. We highly recommend that anyone visiting the Los Angeles Area visit the Huntington Gardens. We plan to visit again. It was wonderful.
