DEAR SIR: I have your letter inquiring how building and loan associations should be taxed, and whether post-office furniture and boxes owned individually by a third class postmaster and used in the post-office are taxable. In reply I beg to advise you as follows: 1. The new revenue law contains no special provision for assessing building and loan associations.
