This was among the first of our schools in regard to attendance. Good order, laudable ambition, and thorough teaching was manifest. DlsTarer N o. 5.--Smnmer. The school was small, but of excellent spirit, and made good progress. Winter. The same teacher as the winter before, and equally successful. Excellent material and eminently trained. In punctuality, it was the first district school in town. Not a tardy mark defaced its register. DI-STRICT No. 6. This school, though small in numbers, yet was one which always gave pleasure to the visitor, and we have reason to think, that both the summer and the winter terms have given results of such a character as ought to satisfy any reasonable expectations that had been entertained respecting them. DISTRICT No. 7. This school has been under the charge of an efficient teacher during the year, and as a matter to. be expected, has done well. It has been a satisfactory school to the Committee. DlsTRlcr No. 8. The Summer Term of this school was a pleasant one to all concerned. As in some other cases, there was sometimes experienced a feeling that there uras.a want of good order and decorum on the part of some of the scholars. Otherwise the school was a satiifiaotory one.
