Tiling diningroom floors.--The $4,000 in this appropriation was used in putting in the new tile floors in the children's kitchen and diningroom of the main building, together with what was necessary from the repair and improvement fund to complete the work.-Dairy herd fund.--The balance in this appropriation of $78.10 was used in part payment on some heifers to Wm. Everson & Sons, Lake Mills, Wis. Two new silos fund.--A balance of $664.74 remaining in this fund was used as follows: Four hundred and eighteen dollars was used in completing the two silos, and the balance of $246.74 was allowed to lapse in the State treasury. Installing scales fund.--0f the $1,000 'remaining in this fund at the beginning of this biennial period $313.80 was used and the balance of $686.20 was allowed to lapse into the State treasury. Special appropriations for 1913 and 191/, .--These appropriations were practically all unused at the end of this biennial period, with the exception of the appropriation for terrazzo tile floors; $878.20 had been paid from the tile floor fund for a new tile floor in the serving room at the girls' cottage. Contracts will soon be entered into for the improvements covered by the other new appropriations and the larger part on them will be used during the next six months.
