Assassin's Creed: Renaissance is the thrilling novelisation by Oliver Bowden based on the game series.

'I will seek Vengeance upon those who betrayed my family. I am Ezio Auditore di Firenze. I am an Assassin...'

The Year of Our Lord 1476 - the Renaissance: culture and art flourish alongside the bloodiest corruption and violence. Bitter blood-feuds rage between the warring political families of Italy.

Following the murder of his father and brothers, Ezio Auditore di Firenze is entrusted with an ancient Codex, the key to a conspiracy that goes back to the centuries-old conflict between the shadowy Templar Knights and the elite Order of Assassins.

Ezio must avenge the deaths of his kinsmen and in doing so fulfil his destiny, and live by the laws of the Assassin's Creed.

Our customer reviews

The author is very talented at painting a picture of renaissance Italy in your mind but the language is terrible. None of the characters speak like they do in the game and there is rather odd slang terms that do not feel authentic to the series. If the conversations were more in keeping with the games then this book would be more

I enjoyed the book. It pretty much follows the storyline for the game with a few extra lines added in here and there. I found the book somewhat addicting . But Oliver Bowden language isn't really up to scratch and the last chapter seems more

Great story, follow the storyline of the game, but if you played the game don't hesitate to read this book. It follows the storyline but adds some nice extra's to it and it makes it even better!show more
