No person is qualified to become an Associate of the Institute until he has attained the age of twenty-one years, and unless he has passed through a course of at least three years' study of Theoretical and Analytical Chemistry, Physics, and Elementary Mathematics, and has passed such examinations in the several subjects as are prescribed by the Council.
