Don't get me wrong, The Red Pyramid is a good story. Problem is, it's MIND-NUMBINGLY BOOOOOOOOORING!!!!!!!!! I'm serious, after about 200 pages my brain actually fell asleep. I don't even remember what it's about, only that it's a carbon copy of the Percy Jackson series. The second one is actually quite good, but it's a bit repetitive. This one is just begging to be thrown out the window. The only reason I kept it is that it's about Egypt, and I like Egypt. Right now just thinking about this book makes me want to go to sleep. You should probably just avoid this book, unless it's cheap.show more
