About The Animal Jones

If you haven't already guessed, "The Animal, Jones" is a pseudonym for a writer whose work you may already know. Don't bother trying to figure it out! You'll almost certainly be wrong! But here are some clues to bake your noodle: The Animal, Jones has worked with Paul Reubens (Pee-Wee Herman) and Bruce Cohen (producer of American Beauty) and Bennett Miller (director of Capote and Foxcatcher) and Animal Logic VFX in Australia (creators of Happy Feet). The Animal, Jones has won awards from places like the Cannes Film Festival and the New England Film Festival. You could look it up! If you only knew his real name! Anyway! What you are about to read is the screenplay adaptation of a graphic novel the The Animal wrote many years ago - with Art by the wonderful Jason Brubaker! (You should definitely look HIM up - he's published several INCREDIBLE graphic novels - produced HUNDREDS of illustrations for the Really Big Things trilogy! He's awesome!) A bit of history! The film version of Really Big Things was optioned by Warner Bros but never made. (Their robot is Iron Man!) And so be it, he's awesome! That does not diminish the amazement and originality of the Really Big Things... So read on - and enjoy. You're about to enter a very strange world.
