Rain is the story of a young girl growing up fast on the streets of the Chicago. She grows up without a mother and looks to her father to guide her through life. To cope, she mentally removes herself from tough situations. However, her life changes for the worse when her father disappears one night. She turns to selling drugs with her best friend to support herself. She decides to run away from home when the street life gets too tough and she experiences the ultimate betrayal from someone close to her.
