ITo. 4 Grey Forgo.--An Open, Soft Iron: possesses great strength; suitable for tougheuiugand tempering harder qualities; it is a very superior Forge Iron. Bo. 5 Common Forge.--A Harder. Finer Grain, very Strong Iron: suitable for Heavy Machinery, such as Shafts, Large Wheels, and also for Steam and BlowingCylinders, Guides, Slides, &c., as well as for Forge purposes iu Cable Bolts, Boiler Plate, and BB.
