Our customer reviews

My boyfriend and I own a lot of cookbooks but I'd say this is definitely the one we've used the most. All the recipes are practical and easy to make at home. The instructions are really clear. My favourites sections of the book would be the romantic food and the childhood favourites. My favourites recipes out of it would be the peanut butter chocolate chip cookies, the lasagne, chicken kievs, heart shaped toast with asparagus and hollandaise sauce and the steak with bearnaise sauce. I'm hungry just thinking about it!show more

"I had this book for Christmas. I am vegetarian and my husband is most definitely not! In this book I found delicious recipes for us both. Pasta with roasted peppers and mozzarella was fantastic, the flapjacks were very moreish, fillet steak with mushroom and brandy sauce and tomato fondue was also delicious and a whole chapter devoted to chocolate heaven! The writing style is intelligent, informative and no nonsense. The photography is clear and truly scrumptious! With over 100 recipes you could not fail to be impressed. A book for the whole family to enjoy! "show more
