Customer reviews

The book has some wonderful borders, flowers etc., however, I am a beginner and one of the things I find extremely difficult in the books I have bought over time. . . I need to know how long to make the strips!!!! The width is fairly obvious. But I absolutely (in my beginner's stage) need to know what length to make the strips. In other words 1/8 strip 3" long. . . or 1/2 strip 5 inches long. This book gives absolutely no hint how long to make the strips and at my beginner stage I have no idea how long a strip to use to get the desired result. Am I missing something?? It is very frustrating that this book does not mention once how long only to say once in the book" the size of the basic closed coil is varied by using different lengths of quilling paper. Great! so why leave it to a beginner to GUESS what length was used to get the result pictured in the book????show more
