A regular meeting of the School Committee of the City of Boston was held in the School Committee Chamber, Mason-street building, at half-past seven o'clock P.M., the President in the chair. Present: All the members. On motion of Mr. Merritt, the reading of the records of the last meeting was omitted, the Board approving them as printed. The Chair stated the question was on approving the Approval of appointments, confirmations, and transfers of instructors confirmations' laid over at the last meeting. and transfer laid over. The appointments, confirmations, and transfers were approved. Subsequently, on motion of Mr. Badaracco, the action Transfers of the Board at its meeting of Sept. 13, whereby Gather-" ine J. Gunningham and Agnes C. Moore, assistants, Grammar School, in the Eliot District, were transferred to the same position in the Washington District, to date from Sept. 14, 1904, was rescinded, and the transfers recommitted to the Superintendent.
