Excerpt: ...treasurer; but if the institution where he puts this money would fail, we would lose our money. And it was for this reason that the deposit bond was given on our money, so that it would be impossible to lose anything from that source, by a bank failure or otherwise. Now, receipts from new members during the year, the individual members, $120. The dues for the individual members for 1914-1915, including back dues, $320; making a total of receipts up to this time, exclusive of the money that is taken in at this convention, $3,015.50. The disbursements were as follows: This is including the salaries of your officers: Employment Bureau $198.22. Treasurer's office $150. President's oflice $45.65, plus what will be paid at this convention, which will be a very small amount. Practical Work Department $519.64. Secretary 's office $1,582.82, making the total disbursements $2,496.33. Starting with abalance of $5,018.26, which was the balance that we had at the end of our supplemental report last year, and taking the total receipts of $3,015.50, gives you a total of $8,033.76, from which you have the disbursements of the year of $2,496.33; which leaves us at this time a net balance of $5,537.43. Now, the money at this convention should cover all the expense that will be incurred at this convention, and the getting out of the Year Book, and that balance should stand pretty nearly as it is, which will be $5,537.43.
