Tiemann. Laid over. ' By Councilman Pinckney: Resolved, That the clerk of this Board be directed to advertise for proposals to do the necessary printing, indexing, and binding for this Board, for the year 1860, in accordance with the provisions of the amended Charter. Lost by the following vote: AFFIRMATIVE--Councilmen McConnell, Hall, Lent, Townsend, and Pinckney--5. NEGATIVE---Councilmen Bogert, Jones, Shannon, Hogan, Baulch, Van Tine, Costello, Munson, Shaw, Campbell, and Allen--11. (G. O. 531.) By Councilman Baulch: TV/wreas, The books known as the " Firemen's Register," in the office of the Clerk of the Common Council, have, by constant wear, become worn and mutilated to such an ex tent as to be almost useless; therefore, in order to preserve said record, Resolved, That the Clerk of the Common Council cause the same to be recopied in new books, bound with brass, and that the same be done under the direction of said Clerk, and that the sum of one thousand dollars is hereby' _ appropriated therefor. Laid over. INVITATIONS. An invitation was received from the Empire City Regatta Club to attend the sixth annual regatta, from Conrad's Garden, on Monday, September tenth, eighteen hundred and sixty.
