Brady for the sum of six hundred and fifty dollars, in payment for rent of premises, services, and other expenses attending the free exhibition of the Archbishop Hughes Memorial, the same having been done by the order of the Special Committee on the same, and that the said amount be taken from the appropriation for " City Contingencies." Councilman Ha-gerty moved that said paper be referred to Committee on Finance. Which was lost. _ The resolution was then adopted by the following vote: A1'F1RMA'r1vE---Councilmen Keenan, Healy, Robinson, Stacom, the President, Councilmen Koster, Kenney, Brady, Houghtalin, McG'rath, Green, Smith, O'Callaghan, Russell, Joyce, Reilly, Fitzgerald, and Cook--1S. NEeA'r1vE--CounciImen Hagerty, Brinkman, Patterson, Leavy, and Lent-5..nd the same was directed to be sent to the Board of Aldermen for concurrence. (G. O. 362.) Resolution of the Board of Aldermen, as follows: Resolved, That the Comptroller be, and he is hereby, authorized and directed to draw his warrant in favor of Horatio N. Parker for the sum of two hundred and twenty dollars and thirty-seven cents, being for services rendered as a Commissioner of Deeds and Notary Public, in administering alfidavits of firemen's exemptions, as appears by reference to the books in the ofiice of the Clerk of the Common Council from the year 1858 to 1864, inclusive, the amount to be charged by the Coirptroller to the appropriation for " City Contingencies."
