Excerpt: ...One Hundred and Twenty-first street, from Third avenue to East river, be paved with Belgian or trap-block pavement, and that at the several intersecting streets and avenues crosswalks be laid where not now laid, and relaid where those now laid are, in the opinion of the Commissioner of Public Works, not in good repair, or are not upon a grade adapted to the grade of the proposed new pavement, under the direction of the Commissioner of Public Works; and that the accompanying ordinance therefor be adopted. Which was lost by the following vote: AFFIRMA'rIVE--Assistant Aldermen Foley, Keating, Wisser, Theiss, Codington, Kreps, Keenan, Wade, Kehoe, Kelly, Simonson, Cumisky, Linden, and Beyea--14. Resolved, That the vacant lots on the west side of Madison avenue, between Sixty-ninth and Seventieth street, be fenced in, under the direction of the Commissioner of Public Works; and that the accompanying ordinance therefor be adopted. Which was lost by the following vote: AFF1RMA'rIVE--Assistant Aldermen Foley, Keating, Wisser, Theiss, Codington, Kreps, Keenan, Wade, Kehoe, Simonson, Cumisky, Linden, and Beyea--13. NEGATIVE--Assistant Aldermen Murphy, Healy, Brucks, and Kelly--4. MOTIONS AGAIN RESUMED. Assistant Alderman Wade moved to adjourn. Which was agreed to by the following vote: AFFIRMA'rIVE--Assistant Aldermen Foley, Murphy, Keating, Theiss, Codington, Kreps, Keenan, Wade, Kehoe, Brucks, Kelly, and Beyea--12. NEGATIVE--Assistant Aldermen Healy, Simonson, Cumisky, and Linden---4. a And the President pro tem. announced that the Board stood adjourned until Monday next, the 8th instant, at 2 o'clock P. M.
