Assistant Alderman McDonald called up G. 0. 242, -being a resolution, as follows: Resolved, That gas mains be laid, lamp posts erected, and street lamps lighted in Fifty-fourth street, from Tenth avenue to Eleventh avenue, under the direction of the Commissioner of Public Works. The President put the question whether the Board would agree with said resolution. Which was decided in the afiirmative by the followrng vote (three fourths of all the members elected voting in favor thereof): AFFrmm-rrvr-: --Assistant Aldermen Terence Dufiy, O'Brien, the President, Assistant Aldermen Robinson, Healy, Ham pson, Odell, Pecher, Mulligan, Costello, Reilly, Durnin, Feitner, Garry. McDonald, Thomas Dufiy, and. McCarthy--17. And the same was directed to be sent to the Board of Aldermen for concurrence. Assistant Alderman Garry called up G. O. 296, being a resolution, as follows: Resolved, That a large ornamental street lamp be placed and lighted in front of No. 478 Fourth avenue, under the direction of the Commissioner of Public Works. The President put the question whether the Board would agree with said resolution. Which was decided in the afiirmative by the following vote (three fourths of all the members elected voting in favor thereof): AFFmmnvn--Assistant Aldermen Terence Dufiy, O'Brien, the President, Assistant Aldermen Robinson, Healy, Hampson, Odell, Pecher, Mulligan, Costello, Reilly, Durnin, Feitner, Garry, McDonald, Thomas Dufiy, and McCarthy--17.
