Excerpt: ...Chairman and each Chapter Regent, asking them to co-operate with me and try to interest the members of their respective committees and Chapters in a wider circulation of this excellent magazine. I have had very little response to these appeals. Either the Daughters are not interested, or I have failed to get a report from the different Chapter Committees. May I suggest that during the coming year each Regent appoint a Chairman of the Magazine Committee for her Chapter, and that her name be sent to the State Chairman, so that they can keep in touch with each other and all new subscriptions be reported through the State Chairman. Oftentimes subscriptions that are sent direct to the Treasurer-General are not reported to the State Chairman and thus she is handicapped in making a report. By co-operative work on the part of these chairmen, the circulation in North Carolina could be very much increased, I am sure. Respectfully submitted, Mary Lewis Millis, Chairman, i. Real Daughters As Chairman of Real Daughters, I am sorry to report that after many inquiries and much correspondence, I have only found two grand-daughters, and hope to find others; however, my efforts will be yet to find a Real Daughter before the close of the two years. International Relations The Committee on International Relations was appointed during the summer, and owing to the continued absence from home of the different members of the committee it was difficult to formulate any program for presentation to the various Chapters until such a late date that the committee decided to present a program at the Sate Meeting in Salisbury, and urge that each Chapter incorporate this program into the year's work.
