THE PRESIDENT: Let us finish this first. The Chair is authorized to appoint a Committee. I will appoint on that committee, Mr. Henry G. Snyder, Judge Brewer, Mrs. Madelyne B. Conklin and Judge Vernor of Muskogee. Now, Mr. Remy, you may proceed. JOHN A. REMY: At the last Legislature, I tried to get a bill passed making commercial sexual relations a felony. Not a misdemeanor but a felony. When you take the commercial part out of that you have eliminated a great deal of evil and I am in favor of that yet. THE PRESIDENT: We have now reached the conclusion of our program as formulated, and we are ready, I assume, and willing to receive the report of the council with reference to the officers for the ensuing year which will be the next thing in order. (J. B. DUDLEY, Chairman, General Council, reads report of General Council nominating officers of the Association for the ensuing year.) (See page ix.) THE PRESIDENT: It is moved and seconded that the report made by the council above with reference to the selection of officers for the ensuing year and the admission as members of individuals who have made application for membership, be accepted and approved. (The motion was thereupon put and carried.) THE PRESIDENT: The motion is adopted and I will appoint Dean Monnet, Mr. Boatman and Judge Christopher to bring in the new president.
