About Lucinda Becker
JOAN VAN EMDEN is a freelance consultant, specializing in technical writing and presentations in the engineering industry. She is also a visiting lecturer at the University of Reading, speaks regularly at conferences, and has written a number of books about communication issues. She is Director of the Jove Centre, Reading, a consultancy which specialises in technical writing and presentations.
