About Rita Pam Tarachi

Rita Pam Tarachi is the founder of Hope House Centre and Hope for the broken; founder of Hope House Books, Hope House Records and co-founder of Hope House Bracelets. She's a singer, songwriter, producer, author, missionary, friend and lover of the poor. Rita holds a B.A Honours in English. A very busy author, she's the author of four books. She won the commonwealth write-around-the-world certificate for her essay on free-market policy in secondary school. She came amongst the best three and in her final year, won awards for best student in Literature and French, all in secondary school. Her second book made its debut at number 28 on the Top Books Australia Christianity Book Chart on the 29th September 2011 and made another appearance on the 25th May 2012, still at number 28 on the charts. Her fourth book received a 5-star rating from Readers' favorite. She's released three albums and eight singles plus one teaching CD. She co-produced some of the songs on her sister's first and second album and some of the songs on her third album, Journey. In 2011, Rita was number two and trending at number one on the Reverbnation Nigerian music charts. Rita's passion in life is to see broken lives healed as they come to the full knowledge of God's love in their lives. Rita is a passionate animal lover. Through her connection with the Nigerian SPCA, Rita speaks up for the rights of animals, especially for elephants and rhinoceros and is a strong advocate against Ivory trade. Rita is an advocate for Tiny Hands International, a non-profit based in the USA committed to fighting human trafficking. Her hobbies, when not writing or singing are photography, spending time with her pets, drawing and painting, reading and listening to Christian music. Rita considers herself a servant of God, a pencil in His Hand simply carrying out His will on earth.
